If you have suspected or confirmed Coronavirus and are self-isolating, you need to double bag your used tissues and disposable cleaning cloths and wait 72 hours before putting it out for collection. For more information visit our page here.

Our Household Recycling Centres are still open as normal, although bookings are required.

To book or for further details, visit our HRC Bookings page. Social distancing is required on site.

What does 'recover' mean?

After we have reduced, reused and recycled (including composting) as much as possible, some of the rubbish left can be used to generate heat and power. This is known as recovery. By recovering the left over energy in the rubbish, we are helping to reduce the amount of waste we send to landfill.
