Reducing your single use plastic can seem like a minefield - we've shared some handy tips below to help you easily navigate reducing your single-use plastic at home and while you're on the go.

What should you have in your essentials kit?

  • Reusable shopping bag
  • Reusable cup for hot drinks
  • Reusable water bottle
  • Food container 
  • Reusable cutlery 
  • Napkin 

Optional extras could be:

  • Reusable pint glass - great for a festival or a gig 
  • Reusable straw 


When you are on the go, its good to try and always remember your reusable essentials kit - you never know when you may need it! 

Keeping your reusable kit with you while your on the go will mean you can avoid singe-use plastic at every turn and even save some money along the way too with lots of cafes offering discounts for reusable containers.
