Where are they taken?

Wastepak, Stansted then onto Ecobat, Darlaston, WS10 8JR

What happens to them?

Batteries get transported from Wastepak to Ecobat where they are inspected and sorted by chemistry. They are then bulked and prepared to be exported for recycling.

End market

The materials are taken to approved recycling sites across Europe to be recycled.

End products

Ferrous metals, non-ferrous metals. The leftover mix of material goes on for further treatment including the recovery of zinc and manganese.
