Where are they taken?
Once collected from the kerbside, textiles are sent to a A-Tex’s (formerly Soex) processing plant in Germany.
What happens to them?
The materials are sorted into up to 420 different grades. Clothing that can be worn again is then exported. Textiles beyond re-wear grade sent to the rag industry.

Rags, recycled textile products and second hand clothing depending on the quality of the garment.
