Where to recycle small electricals

Small electricals or small WEEE (Waste Electricals and Electronic Equipment) are any small electrical items with a battery, plug or cable. This includes items that are smaller than microwave and fit inside a carrier bag.

Some examples include:

• Vapes
• Toaster
• Hair dryer and other hair tools
• Kettle
• Table/desk lamp (remove the bulb and recycle separately)
• Electrical cables

There are multiple ways of recycling small electricals and for some, this includes a kerbside electricals collection. If you live in Cheltenham, the Cotswolds, the Forest of Dean, Gloucester or Tewkesbury you are able to recycle small electricals in a carrier bag with your waste or recycling collection.
