In the garden
Go plastic free plant pot crazy
If you have a surplus of plant pots and no more use for them, why not donate them to a local allotment and save them from being wasted?
Get composting and go plastic free
Try and reduce or even avoid buying compost in plastic bags from the garden centres and supermarkets by making your own. Even the smallest gardens can have a compost bin area. It's great for your soil and saves you some cash too.

For bigger projects you can order compost in bulk and avoid the bags altogether.
Go natural for the birds and the bees
Including bug hotels, bird boxes and feeders in your garden are great ways to attract the wildlife in. Try and pick wooden and metal feeders that will last and last rather than plastic ones.
