Gifts for adults or teenagers

Reducing the amount of waste and plastics associated with your gifts is a great present for both the recipient and the planet.

Why not  check out some of our suggestions for low or no waste presents below:

Board/card games

Lots of companies are starting to make them plastic free or with minimal plastic, and it is a great gift that can get used over and over again.

Puzzles

Puzzles are a great waste free present option. You can even get custom puzzles with an image of your choice made to be the perfect personalised gift.

Zero waste items

Gifting someone items that can help them reduce their waste can be very means not only the gift is plastic free but the impact is much higher. Things like a safety razor, a reusable travel mug or water bottle or beeswax wraps help people on the journey to reduce single use items.

If you know your friend or family member is already on a low waste journey, why not help them further with this by gifting them kitchen items such as plastic free sponges or dish brushes or even solid dish washing soap.

Experiences 🎫🎭🎪🎢

Gifts of experiences can be just as meaningful as a physical present and there is next to no waste. Something like an afternoon tea, a trip to the panto, or day trip to somewhere new. Just think of something your friend or family member likes and plan something to do around that. You can always customise the way you give the gift, maybe give a few little gifts that give a hint at the day out, or write it in their Christmas card.

Hampers

Why not make your recipient a custom hamper? You can fill it  with items that they love, but hopefully with less waste. Why not visit a local farm shop to fill your hamper, or even a local zero waste store to buy loose chocolates and other sweet treats which you can pop in a jar or container. If they have a green thumb, some seeds or plants are a great option to add to a hamper.
