What help is available for students to complete their KS3?

Recycle NowOpens new window will help your students deliver key concepts of the Citizenship curriculum for KS3, by using an environmental topic they can relate to.

How can I use these resources to help students?

You can challenge students' preconceived ideas and attitudes to recycling with four inspiring lesson plans which come complete with supporting videos and student sheets:

  • What do we think about recycling?
  • The consequences of recycling
  • Who else can help to recycle more?
  • What can we do?

Follow it up with an assembly, which includes a downloadable PowerPoint and accompanying notes.

Finally, have a go at the extended project, which can count towards your schools eco-schools work and allows students to use what they have learned to make real change in your community.
