- Ferrous metals: 7 Steel Manufacturing, Donald Ward, SL Recycling and EMR
- Non-ferrous metals: EMR and ELG Haniel
What happens to it?
After separation at Smiths, ferrous and non-ferrous metals are sent to UK based metal recycling facilities. Metal is then processed in a metal shredder and shipped globally or smelted within the UK.
